Team Azalea Charities

Introducing Team Azalea Charities

Team Azalea Charities is the online fundraising campaign of Azalea Charities, Inc, Aid for Wounded Warriors project. The Team Azalea Charities program uses customizable internet-based campaigns to make fundraising for our cause easy, fun and rewarding.

Benefiting wounded warriors and their families

Our Team Azalea Charities’ runners, walkers, cyclists, triathletes, etc. dedicate their physical endeavors in 2010 to Aid for Wounded Warriors, a 501(c)(3) non-profit project. This year Team Azalea Charities is continuing its relationship with the British charities and active duty units, but is also seeking athletes and charities from Canada and Australia to join our team as we recognize the commitment made by these nations to serve Side By Side with U.S. wounded service personnel deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Together our mutual commitment to wounded service personnel and their families, Aid for Wounded Warriors provides comfort and relief items and various types of support to service personnel sick, injured or wounded in the line of duty in this war on terrorism.  This is a 100% volunteer effort, with all contributions directly helping wounded personnel and their families at military and veteran’s medical centers, Fisher House rehabilitation facilities and military and VA medical centers. We also provide financial support to CrisisLink (a Hotline for U.S. wounded soldiers and their families), Hope for the Warriors charity, and special projects for combat wounded service personnel.  The purpose of our mission is to lift their spirits and enhance morale through a lifetime of assistance and support.

Join Team Azalea Charities and Become a Fundraiser

Participate in any event, anywhere in the world and raise money for Team Azalea Charities supporting our wounded warriors!  The team turns 5 years old in 2010 with history of volunteer fundraisers running the Marine Corps Marathon and 10K, the Marine Corps Historic Half marathon, the Chicago Marathon, the Army 10 Miler, and the 135-mile Badwater ultra-run across Death Valley in the heat of July -- all to raise awareness and funds for our Aid for Wounded Warriors (AWW) project!

The possibilities are endless!   Do a triathlon, run a 5K, run a marathon a week, record points scored this basketball season, ride the Rockies in Colorado, hike the Appalachian Trail, or invite wedding or house warming guests to donate to AWW in lieu of another rice cooker!

Our Mission

Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for the Azalea Charities Aid for Wounded Warriors project, helping US service personnel and their families across the globe.  We’re striving to achieve this mission through the hard work and dedication of volunteer team members like you!
